I'm not on a Low FODMAP diet, can I still eat Bay’s Kitchen products?

Yes! Bay’s Kitchen products can be enjoyed by all the family. We have really focused on the taste of our products, so everyone can enjoy them together!

However, it is not advisable to only eat Low FODMAP foods unless you have been specifically advised to do so by a medical professional, as the diet is very restrictive. Anyone not on the diet can enjoy our products, but should ensure it is part of their usual balanced diet.

Our products are also Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, and many are certified Vegan, making them suitable for those with allergies and other dietary restrictions.

Are there any allergens in Bay’s Kitchen products?

All allergen information is clearly listed on the jar label and on each product page in our online shop, with any allergens highlighted in Bold.

Are all your food products Low FODMAP certified?

Yes. They are certified by FODMAP Friendly – you can visit their site to find out more about their certification here.

All of our products are also Gluten-Free certified, Dairy-Free certified, and the majority are Vegan approved!

How long can I keep your products?

All of our products are ambient, meaning they are kept in a store cupboard rather than fridge or freezer before opening.

When you receive them, they will have a minimum shelf life of 3 months (although it's often much longer!).

Sauces, soups, and gravies should be refrigerated once opened and consumed within 2 days.

Concentrated stocks, chutneys, and condiments should be refrigerated once opened and consumed within 1 month.

Can Bay's Kitchen products be frozen?

Yes. All of our products can be frozen, however we can’t guarantee the quality will be just as good after doing so.

2nd purchase of the green and red Thai curry paste, so love the product, especially as the contain no garlic or onion, which is rare as I have an Severe Allium allergy, unusually perfect for me

I have suffered from IBS for so long and have often given up ever finding a stock that could heal me. This is such a useful stock and freezes so well. I love to make a creamy mushroom and chicken sauce using this as a base with a generous dash of brandy and low fat cream cheese which I can then add to either pasta or rice for a very tasty, quick and easy supper dish.
