I'm not on a low FODMAP diet. Can I still eat Bay’s Kitchen products?

Yes! All the family can enjoy Bay’s Kitchen products. We have really focused on our products' taste so that everyone can enjoy them together!

However, it is not advisable to only eat low-FODMAP foods unless you have been specifically advised to do so by a medical professional, as the diet is very restrictive. Anyone not on the diet can enjoy our products but should ensure it is part of their usual balanced diet.

Our products are also gluten-free and dairy-free, and many are certified vegan, making them suitable for those with allergies and other dietary restrictions.

Are there any allergens in Bay’s Kitchen products?

All allergen information is clearly listed on the jar label and on each product page in our online shop, with any allergens highlighted in bold.

Are all your food products Low FODMAP certified?

Yes. They are certified by FODMAP Friendly – you can visit their site to find out more about their certification here.

All of our products are also gluten-free certified, dairy-free certified, and the majority are vegan approved!

How long can I keep your products?

All of our products are ambient, meaning they are kept in a store cupboard rather than a fridge or freezer before opening.

When you receive them, they will have a minimum shelf life of 3 months (although it's often much longer!).

Sauces, soups, and gravies should be refrigerated once opened and consumed within 2 days.

Concentrated stocks, chutneys, and condiments should be refrigerated once opened and consumed within 1 month.

Can Bay's Kitchen products be frozen?

Yes. All of our products can be frozen; however, we can’t guarantee the quality will be just as good after doing so.

Can't tell the difference, I adore it!

I have such a fear of eating anything green in general because I cant seem to tolerate it, cabbage, broccoli etc. I avoid at all costs but I was desperately missing pesto. It is a total god send, and lasts ages. A little goes a long way.

If you have diverticular disease, the nut pieces arent too tiny to remove either so you can sort of strain them through or remove with a knife if that is a worry of yours.

But again, cant recommend more!

Great vegan IBS friendly sauce

This sauce is easy to use, tasty, relatively low calorie and great for vegans with IBS. I love this brand and just wish they did more foods! Being a vegan with IBS is so hard, I’m very grateful for this brand (especially the soup as that’s very hard to find without onions!)

Lovely!

I was definitely missing curry’s on a low fodmap diet. I love Thai curry, this was delicious. Possibly my favourite. It’s spicy, but not too spicy. Has a lovely mild coconut flavour. Have purchased again and will do in the future.

Great diary for getting you through Low Fodmap

Great diary with lots of helpful hints and tips at the front for navigating the low fodmap diet. I would say you need a diary as well as the Monash App to navigate Low Fodmap properly, as quantities of foods are essential as well as the recipe itself (safe quantities are on the Monash App). Personally I prefer the physical diary as opposed to the one on the Monash App as I can see by flicking through what my diet looks like. Also I’ll be able to show my GP more easily what I’ve been eating and drinking when I go back for a review.
