I'm not on a low FODMAP diet. Can I still eat Bay’s Kitchen products?

Yes! All the family can enjoy Bay’s Kitchen products. We have really focused on our products' taste so that everyone can enjoy them together!

However, it is not advisable to only eat low-FODMAP foods unless you have been specifically advised to do so by a medical professional, as the diet is very restrictive. Anyone not on the diet can enjoy our products but should ensure it is part of their usual balanced diet.

Our products are also gluten-free and dairy-free, and many are certified vegan, making them suitable for those with allergies and other dietary restrictions.

Are there any allergens in Bay’s Kitchen products?

All allergen information is clearly listed on the jar label and on each product page in our online shop, with any allergens highlighted in bold.

Are all your food products Low FODMAP certified?

Yes. They are certified by FODMAP Friendly – you can visit their site to find out more about their certification here.

All of our products are also gluten-free certified, dairy-free certified, and the majority are vegan approved!

How long can I keep your products?

All of our products are ambient, meaning they are kept in a store cupboard rather than a fridge or freezer before opening.

When you receive them, they will have a minimum shelf life of 3 months (although it's often much longer!).

Sauces, soups, and gravies should be refrigerated once opened and consumed within 2 days.

Concentrated stocks, chutneys, and condiments should be refrigerated once opened and consumed within 1 month.

Can Bay's Kitchen products be frozen?

Yes. All of our products can be frozen; however, we can’t guarantee the quality will be just as good after doing so.

Such a godsend!

I'm very very new to this FODMAP way of eating , so discovering a new food emblem that I now have to be aware of, (I'm already checking for the gluten free sticker!) feels like another slap in the face! However, this is actually a very easy switch - Bays products are delicious and - blessings! - NOT ridiculously overpriced like GF items are. This pesto is tasty, with a nice texture. Personally, I'd like it to be a bit more punchy / citrusy to pack more of a punch, but I've enjoyed it. Any food that leaves me satisfied, and well, is a find and I'll definitely be ordering again.

Being dairy intolerant for the last 12 months I am always looking for tasty alternatives . I didn’t like the taste or texture of this despite really liking some of the other jars . I do love the tomato and basil sauce and have just ordered 4 more jars

New to the low FODMAP diet, I was delighted to discover this range. It’s been astonishingly difficult to find low FODMAP- approved foods. So far, I’ve only tried the Pesto but as this is delicious, I anticipate the two other products I bought (chicken stock and BBQ sauce) will be equally as good. Now that I’m having to read food labels, I cannot believe we’re subject to the nonsense that’s added to the majority of products. Long may Bay’s Kitchen last, as I will certainly be staying a customer.

Very nice, and simple to use.

Tried this for the first time a few months back, came back and ordered more. Very tasty. I start with This Is Not Chicken and a selection of chopped veg, once simmered off I add the jar of sauce and another of oat or coconut milk ,because we like a lot of sauce, and simmer for A Bit while the rice cooks, and you get a proper tasty meal.

Great stuff!

I have used this before when my son, who is following a Fodmap diet visited. Although there are no onions or garlic in it, it is delicately flavoured with herbs and does the job perfectly for soups and stews. Very carefully wrapped, although I’m unsure whether the plastic netting around the jars can be recycled?
